"Know It's Over" This one was written in about 20 minutes on an acoustic guitar and the lyrics were loosely based on our old neighbor that had a boyfriend she had met on the internet. It was such a messed up relationship. It also had a little influence of Rob's recent divorce. -Shane
"Wonder" The riff was from another song I wrote in Needle Damage Done called "Holly Would?" I changed the arrangement and gave it a chorus. Because of Denny living in Illinois at the time and the rest of us out in L.A., we recorded this as a three piece. We debuted it in Peoria Illinois opening for Buckcherry! After recording the song I was told by a few that the arrangement didn't work because it takes so long to get to the chorus. I stuck to my guns and in 2004 the song was in the top 20 songs played on internet radio for almost 2 months. The one song that has always been constant in the live show. -Shane
"Eggshells"....tongue in cheek title that never actually comes into play in the lyrics.....I wrote this about a long-ago ex-girlfriend who was a bit fragile, and who I admittedly took advantage of at the time, and have regretted it ever since.
