FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE: February 1, 2008 BEST OF SEVEN consisting of Shane Tassart, Brian Wong, Denny Smith and Rob Wood are gearing up for a full out reunion. Shows, new recordings and 18 songs that are now available for download through iTunes! These songs include never before heard songs. We as a band are really excited about working together again. It has been a long 6 years since we stepped on a stage together. We promise not to disappoint. BEST OF SEVEN was formed in 1999 and was signed to Union Entertainment's Bryan Coleman (Nickelback,Default and Saliva) where they showcased for everyone from Clive Davis and J records to a very memorable showcase for SONY where they shared the building with Lenny Kravitz and Mick Jagger. Shows with BuckCherry, Warrant,Enuff Z Nuff and Ratt kept the band in the public eye but with no product available the road was a tough one. In 2001 the band added Josh Ketchmark on guitar and Shane became just a frontman.BO7 then entered into the studio specifically to record some heavier songs to join the Kid Rock tour. Inner turmoil between members and frustrations with no record deal cause the bands demise. The band split, Shane and Denny to Illinois, Brian to Bubble and Rob to Santa Clarita. In 2003 Shane was approached by Fastlane Records to release BEST OF SEVEN. Unfortunately there was no band to support the album and the labels promises all fell through. Shane put together a new version of the band with Rob, but it failed to capture the magic it once had and in 2005 it was also put to rest. Fast forward to 2007 due to a death in the family Shane went home to Illinois and to his surprise Denny was in town from Nashville and they played an open jam in Peoria .Billed as BEST OF SEVEN the spark was set to start the fire. Two weeks later Rob joined Denny on stage and after the show the two talked over drinks. The stage was set. BEST OF SEVEN 2008!
